I don’t think you understand what it means to be a Centrist.

“Moderate Democrats” would have chastised, ridiculed and blacklisted Martin Luther King Jr.

This is a fact.

Fact...what lol?

Martin Luther King Jr. was born on january 15th, 1929. That is a fact.

What you claimed is an assumption.

An assumption that cant be proven either way.

Ok cool. Don’t hide behind semantics.
Given decades of evidence and MLK’s own words and actions - what is your assumption?

Would your beloved Centrist Democratic Establsihment embrace MLK today or would they persecute him?

Bruh are you kidding me LOL? Biden takes money from credit card and bank employees!? Wow man the fuckin horror lol

I guess next youre going to tell me those corrupt ass michigan politicians accept money from automobile workers...or that bernie takes donations from maple industry employees lol

You know what the fuck that bullshit mbna story was about. Hunter biden went to work for a credit card company out of an ivy league school (i would imagine there are other ivy league grads that work for banks in delaware too). It was some shitty veiled attempt to link what biden did then to this burisma crap trump is parroting.

Sanders knew that and told them to get the fuck outta here with that shit. At least he had the instincts and foresight to see what it was and toss it before the seat got too hot on what his supporters were tryin to do. You should too bruh.

So if Bernie Sanders accepted $100 Billion from the Oil Industry...

Became President - And then just had a change of heart and decided to abandon the Green New Deal and expand the corporate power of the oil industry and launch military action in the Middle East to sieze more of their oil.

You wouldn’t question anything about that situation, would you?

I cant believe we've come to the point where we have to debate what is and isnt a fact.

As far as that completely hypothetical situation:

- being anti-poverty and anti-war arent exclusively progressive positions

- who knows if mlk wouldnt have had more moderate views today (if i recall progressives were tight when john lewis endorsed hilary over bernie. bobby rush aint exactly known as a progressive either). who knows if dems or the country as a whole wouldnt have tilted left if mlk was here today. Your argument has no broader context

Not sure what your getting at here. Thats such a loaded question based again on a complete hypothetical and an illogical set of events. Thats like saying if biden took 100 billion from electric transportation and tech venture capitalists and confiscated everybodys car.

He wasn’t just anti- poverty and anti-war. He was a self described democratic socialist and was explicit in his descriptions of the limitations of capitalism and the economic injustices of his time.

A lot of his ideas went further then Bernie’s do.

The establishment loathed him. It’s a pretty logical conclusion that the same would be true (even more so) today.

We have only accelerated income inequality from the middle of the 20th century to now.

The reason I give a hypothetical example is in an effort to articulate the absolutely ludicrous position your are taking that bribes in government don’t exist.

Situations like I just described have happened hundreds of times. Not hypothetical. Black and white.

They have happened with Joe Biden.

But you completely brush it off because how dare I accuse corrupt politicians of being corrupt with a mountain of evidence substantiating the claim.

I’d still like you to answer the hypothetical question by the way.
