He actually wanted Amy Klobuchar.


Basically, he didn't intend to actually choose from a pool of female candidates............because he already had one in mind.


Once Klobuchar backed out, he was forced to choose from a group of women he never intended to be his running mate to begin with.

Amy is iight (of course she dropped out). But imo, in this climate its better for him politically to pick a blk vp. Of course every candidate has pros n cons. But you need someone w name recognition. Yes he coulda gone w karen bass n val demings. But they dont have the name recognition Kamala has. Plus they already kno she can campaign and has a established political base. And yes for as flawed as she may be, they are willing to bet she can turn out the blk vote (i hope they are right)

Not really a Sanders fan, but picking him would've guaranteed that he got the votes of all of Sanders supporters.


Or at least most of them.

As i said in the previous post, in this climate he needs a blk woman.

Plus the Bernie bros didnt even show up durin the primary. U think they gone show up durin the general n Bernie doesn't move the needle for the blk vote. Bernie is a non starter imo.

He already implied he was gonna do that since like last year. It was ALWAYS going to be a female candidate after a female Dem candidate lost to a literal serial rapist in 2016

Simple - its a way to save face. She knew it was over. She had the least chance of anybody on the shortlist after Floyd. So she publicly took herself out the equation to win political points for "being the bigger woman" and saying "I think this is a moment to put a woman of color on that ticket".

See, the part where your theory goes from plausible to "absolutely fucking crazy lol" is when you say "Biden wasn't about to give up on her" after George Floyd like he's telling his advisors "NO I DON'T CARE IF SHE HELPED CHAUVIN KILL AGAIN I WANT AMY!!!!!!!!!!!". And publicly withdrawing is the only way to stop Joe from nominating her? Like, come on. That's too much.

Black Women are the most loyal demographic of the Democratic Party. Kamala Harris was always the frontrunner.

The irony of that debate that will be missed by most

Here we have two people who have a documented history of jailing black people. One of them constructed the bill that arguably was one of the biggest blows to our community in recent history. The other was fucking over lab results and blocking dna evidence.

Not long ago these two assholes were trying to convince us that the other was a threat to black folk

Now we're supposed to vote for them both because "well we're better than trump"

Once again if the politicians regardless of color do not have tangibles for black Americans alone as a agenda on their campaign then black Americans shouldn't vote for them. When a politician does have tangibles that the black Americans have already stated they want such as cash etc. Then black Americans should vote etc. Its not rocket science.
