I thought of this match as soon as I saw the thread title. Classic match from 2 of the greatest to ever do it. The Excellence of Execution was and still is my all time favorite.

And Perfect was wrestling with a bad back but still put on a hell of a match.

It was and I thought it was much better than the Savage/Warrior match from that same show. Back then I hate that Bret lost the match but who knew that 45-50 days after this he would beat Flair for the WWF Title.

Yeah Bret and Bulldog stole the show that night. I wished he would have won too but it was understandable at the time. They were setting up Bulldog for a push at the IC title and it was in his backyard in the UK.
And you right about Bret vs Flair I sure didn’t see that coming lol but glad it happened.
