But the seasons didn’t run into each other. There’s a couple year long gaps.

The main storyline runs from Fall of ‘83 (season 1) to Summer ‘85 (season 3). When you have a group of 12 year olds growing to 14 years old you’re talking about enveloping their most formative years with significant trauma. Will had to deal with that far more than any of the others. Each of the seasons only show about a few days to weeks each but the ramifications are also felt offscreen as we see each time from the between season developments.

You watched the show but overlooked last season how he was constantly getting sessions for his mental state and physical state in season 2? Not to mention how he is still connected to the upside a bit. Every time the demi-gorgon's were close or something related to it, he would get triggers or a sick sense.

Him (he got it worse) and Eleven got PTSD worse than all the rest of the people who was involved in the events that have taken place in Hawkins. Poor guy just wants to be a kid and play D&D.. lmao

The kid is suffering from PTSD which is mostly everybody else's point. Lmao.

In the first 2 seasons all the fucked up stuff happened to him and his (Bob getting killed is included) family worse than anybody. It's kind of understandable that the other kids moved on (which honestly they haven't) a bit easier than him because they weren't in the upside down, they didn't have the fucked up visions, or have a creature using your body. Poor kid probably has nightmares like crazy and gets help still. Lol
