I said P was more impressive because he was able to have all that success with relatively little talent. Why is that such a hard concept for you to understand? What would be more impressive? A basketball phenom becoming an NBA allstar or someone who could barely shoot a basketball going into their college years? America already has socialist elements in place. Free K-12, social security, welfare, firefighters, etc... are all as socialist as free college, Medicare for all, and a universal basic income. No one is advocating for full blown socialism in America. The things that are being promoted are in-line with what we already do in America and have already largely been implemented in other Western nations. This stand people are taking against socialism is probably the most ignorant shit ever. People are literally out here saying the equivalent of "No I don't want my government to serve me interests. I'd rather it continue to allow the rich to shit on me."

We already have socialism in this country. Socialism for the rich. They just gave the wealthiest people and biggest corporations $1 trillion dollars in tax cuts last year. One of the biggest reasons socialist style welfare programs have been so controversial in America is that they occasionally benefit black people. That's why FDR excluded farmworkers and maids from Social Security - 2/3rds of all black laborers were either farmworkers or maids. That's why Europe has lots of crazy racist far-right parties but none of them want to dismantle their welfare state like Republicans do.

Bruh, you been to LA lately? They literally have little tent towns set off the interstate because the city has so many homeless people. The city has more vacant homes than homeless people. That's capitalism for you.
