You're assuming that all customers are color or complexion blind. That's probably not the case depending on the clientele theya re trying to attract. That said, I'm betting this is more about the personal preferences of the owners or management than it is about the clientele. I've been to that bar before the service staff was light brights only, and they didn't have any problem getting people in there.
