By all means, we ALL agree that Robert should’ve been locked up a while ago. But this time around, it seems like he’s getting a combination of the OJ kidnapping bum rap and the Cosby treatment. That’s foul as shit.

Unless some hardcore evidence comes out about any of these charges, people are going to tilt to the idea that he might be paying for past sins, and not for current events, and that’s why they’re turning on Gayle King and Oprah.

Your comparison would accurate... if instead of the kidnapping charge OJ got charged with a different murder and police had a videotape of him doing it.

WHO IS VALENCIA LOVE? R. KELLY $100,000 BOND PAID BY SINGER'S 'GOOD FRIEND'

The woman who posted R. Kelly’s $100,000 bond has revealed herself. Valencia Love, a friend of the embattled R&B singer, confirmed paying the four installments of $25,000 for Kelly’s bail, according to an ABC News report Tuesday.

The woman told ABC she was just a friend of Kelly’s and noted that she didn’t use her own money to front the necessary 10 percent of the $1 million bond, which a judge set on Saturday. “It was his own money. I just posted bail for him,” Love told the news outlet.

Kelly turned himself in to Cook County police in Illinois on 10 counts of aggravated sexual assault charges last Friday.

The award-winning singer, who pleaded not guilty to all counts, spent two nights behind bars when he was unable to come up with the money. Kelly was released after Love, who is 47 and from Romeoville, Illinois, made the payment on Monday. Love’s name was printed on the bond slips obtained by ABC News.

Kelly was spotted in downtown Chicago shortly after his release. The singer stopped at a popular McDonald’s before spending several hours at a cigar lounge.

The charges against the 52-year-old Kelly concern alleged assaults on four women, three of whom were between 13 and 17 at the time. As with the sexual abuse and assault rumors that have followed Kelly throughout his nearly three-decade-long career, the singer denied the accusations through his lawyer, Steve Greenberg.

“Our position at this point is that Mr. Kelly has done nothing wrong,” Greenberg told reporters following Kelly’s release. “No one has shown us any evidence that he has done anything wrong.”

There is speculation that the new charges against Kelly may stem from two videotapes that defense attorney Michael Avenatti claimed to have of the musician engaging in sexual acts with a 14-year-old girl. Avenatti revealed that the tapes had been reviewed by his office and handed over to Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx a week before Kelly's arrest.
