Proctor knew she was gonna use and OD because he was telling her how good his life is. It was his plan but he expected her die faster than she did

The writers gave lil hints at how weak she was with her drug habit. Plus Proctor knows her like that. Remember the LOOK on his face when he was showing her the ring? He was putting it on thick, trying to be convincing. He just knew she couldn't handle losing and would relapse

And was it coke or something harder? I don't recall
 
Tariq's actions and words to his parents are all their fault. Ghost just being his father should've went to his body. But they have to look in mirror know its their fault and understand this is who they raised.

They tried raising them kids on some white people bullshit and it failed miserably.
 
Proctor didn't want her to die he just wanted her to relapse. So in the custody case he would ask for a drug test and she would fail the test lose the case and probably her job. So she would have no chance at winning even joint custody. When she died he was like fuck it now he don't have to worry about any of it.
