they keep saying he’s a maniac … I’m thinking the tracking devices in the girls are just scratching the surface.

Plot finally moving along...i finally figured out what this show reminds me of. It reminds me of true detective season 2. Dope production, A list actors, it looks great, but it's not as good as it thinks it is. And the show feels lifeless

Lol it was explained in the beginning - the mayor is the middle man between the cops and gangs / Crips ran the yard originally but that went to shit with the young CO…then his brother got popped randomly which opened a whole new can of worms + him having to step up and be the mayor
