Hey guys, I’m here to start a thread series that focuses on the players who came into the league with expectations and didn’t really pan out for whatever reason and players who were drafted at really high position and that player hasn’t amounted to anything

Today we are focusing on:

Dante Exum

AP_19323193023469.0.jpg

  • Drafted With the 5th Pick in the 2014 NBA draft
  • Has played in 235 Reg Season games while Missing 255 Games due to Injury
  • Averaging 5.7 points and 2.1 assists in his Career
While Exum’s career has went down the toilet after being pretty hyped coming in out of Australia, the cool thing is he’s only 24 years old (younger than Caris Levert) so the door on him being a quality rotation player isn’t shut at all for him. Exum has shown flashes in his career but never consistently played well even if he wasn’t injured.

Btw ima be optimistic and say 6th man

spencer dinwiddie didn’t find his way until he was 24

I think Exum at ag 26-27 can give you 12ppg if he don’t get hurt no more

The good thing about all the guys you've posted is the fact they are still fairly young.

Exum can't seem to stay healthy which is a big thing. If his body can't hold up under the rigors of a long NBA season his career is going to get cut short. I think he is going to fall in the "out of the league" category if next season he isn't healthy enough to make it through completely
