Movie Night (Official Movie Discussion Thread)

Currently watching this, pretty unique film never really seen anything like this.

pretty decent so far kinda hard to follow what’s going on at the moment as it seems to be broken into chapters.

Finally got the nerve to watch this since it won't leave my suggested watches on Amazon Prime. Trey Songz wasn't that bad and honestly, the movie wasn't either.

James bond marathon on tonight. Just finished Thunderball.

I didn't know The Dark Knight got the sky hook idea from Thunderball. Dope shit.

One of my personal favorites You Only Live Once up next.

Looks like that's the last of the sean Connery joints, I was late, but they upped my on demand with the whole collection which saves me from having to get up a change DVDs. Been meaning to run through the 007 collection again anyway. At least 1 or twice a year

Ended up watching a horror remake called “castle freak”.

yea.... dunno bout that one.

basically a soft core porno with some inbred mutants involved.

more of a comedy than a horror.

acting is shit. Story is shit. Film is generally shit.

Watching Dick Tracy. People shit on this movie but I for one love it. It was intended to be the next Batman. Had a lot of similarities when it was marketed to the public. I as a kid was hyped. The villains looked weird and cool but for whatever reason didn’t do good in the box office. I used to want a sequel so bad but it never happened. Warren Beatty owns the rights now and keeps promising a sequel but I doubt it’ll ever happen now. Probably maybe when he passes.

Watchin "Spell". This shyt is decent. Wish there's more thriller/horror movies that explored black folks involvement in root...voodoo...and other dark mysticism.

Even though I didn't understand 40% of what they were sayin, it was a decent watch??‍♀️. Now featured on Amazon Prime and Hulu.

Seen that shit earlier this year. It was good

Ghost and tommy?

I watched the croods 2. I liked the first one so I watched this and it was good. And funny

What’s the drug dealing movie where dude’s girl ends up dead in a landfill at the end?

Ran thru a couple docs the last few days...

Death to 2020 on Netflix. It was iight.

Hector Camacho showtime documentary. Solid watch, felt bad for his moms. Hector loved that coke. Dude lived that fast life.

I Am Ali. Muhammad Ali doc. Mainly lotta phone convos between Ali n his kids n wife in the early 80s. Real good doc, lotta personal heartfelt stories

Greta. Climate activist Greta Thunberg doc. This kid is dope af, but the doc was trash. Basically a bunch of home videos.

When We were Kings. Ali vs foreman rumble in the jungle 1997 doc. I actually never watched this b4. 80% of the stuff i already knew. But couple clips i never seen b4. GOAT doc. Then went back and watched the full fight on YouTube.

Watched two Malcolm X docs on YouTube. Most stuff i already knew. Both real good watches tho (btw YouTube got some legit docs on there.)

I recommend watching Marriage Story on Netflix. Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson killed their roles in that film. I see why they were nominated for Oscar's
