OUT NOW Megan Thee Stallion - Good News

that don’t seem that bad to me
Those numbers are bad for her ,Polo G did 99,000 albums first week without the big machine and money of a Roc Nation. Meg had promotion run with GQ Magazine ,performance on Saturday Night Live and NPR, Beyoncé jumping on the remix ,and Tory Lanez incident .

People in here done called her a good rapper, a great rapper, and now saying she can be one of the GOATs.

If that's what we doing, we can't have a real conversation here.

She can imitate Pimp C and other rappers well but she is a god awful song writer and she has the versatility of a scratched out lottery ticket.

She, just like Nicki before her, are the epitome of what is wrong with female rappers: they are extremely marginally talented but the lion's share of their success comes from their physical appearance and they use the mere fact that they are women to intimidate anyone who dares point it out.

And what's more egregious is that their music and imagery influences 2.5 generations of Black females to behave in a way that they reject in their personal lives. It's all "savage, ratchet, rich sex, niggas gotta pay for this pussy" while they're somewhere in isolation trying to be a wife and judging the very women they influence.

Yet, only when something happens to them personally like losing an award, not selling alot of albums, or getting shot in the foot, suddenly it's "It's so hard out here for black women" followed by a college scholarship fund.

The worst outcome of this horrible album is that Megan will try to make more "personal introspective" music in the future and it will be some of the most forced cringe worthy music you've ever heard in rap. When it happens, quote me on it.
