kinda defeats the point of a "what if?" show if they just create new stories with characters we haven't seen in the MCU yet

The writing on this show is still garbage. And why make an episode like this, and then tease a far better potential episode with Ultron?

What If This felt like the prologue for Thor : Love & Thunder which will likely have 4 times the slapstick and jokes in this episode.

This. This forum hasn't been to bad, but the complaints about What If... have been stupid in general. It's fair not to like it, but the whole point of What If... as a concept is for them to be able to do silly, goofy, unlikely, out of character, etc.... stories without running into problems with established canon. The Thor episode more than any should have showed people that none of these are really meant to be taken too seriously. If you're nitpicking character personalities or story logic, you really don't get the concept here.

For real the what if comics had crazy stories like what if aunt may became spider woman or what if the punisher killed the marvel uni verse. I remember reading a crazy double sized issue that was designated for sillines. " what if the marvel universe went crazy" the whole episode was like a sketch comedy. It was like marvel meets mad magazine.

First off The Watcher supposed to be skrong and powerful af. Secondly The Watcher should have celestial level technology. Kinda pissed he got his ass beat after donning his armor. Ultron the ultimate in human technology along with the stones is a prollem but shouldn't be fucking up ol boy like that imo but then again watchers done got killed b4 so It is what it is.

The hand to hands and fight choreography was dope in this ep. Hawkeye did his thing.
