Welcome To aBlackWeb

Watched the first episode last night. Was sleepy so didnt check out the second one yet.

I can see how someone who watched this who has no idea about comicbook stories or the production news on the show might find this wack. Its unlike anything Marvel has done and just the first episode had a tiny couple second reveal that everything isnt as it seems. It will probably be a slow burn compared to what we are used to with marvel, but theyve had the oppurtunity to spread this out across 3 and a half hours in 30min increments. Cant expect it to hit the ground running right away. We havent seen these characters since Thanos and Stark died. I feel as the show goes on it will be revealed what Wanda has been up to since that fight and all will be explained.

Oddly enough though NONE of the trailers to my recollection showed any footage of action scenes. Saw vision fly above town but thats about it. With the budget this show has it has to be in here somewhere. Im guessing around episode 4 it will pick up quite a bit, but may still seem a bit slow until the end.

Avengers: Endgame was going to include a post-credits scene setting up WandaVision. Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany are back reprising their MCU roles, this time on the small screen with a sitcom-inspired project. The Disney+ show kicks off MCU's Phase 4, which features a mix of movie and series projects on their slate.

Additionally, teasing a project that ultimately didn't arrive until almost two years after would've been a bummer. Granted that Marvel Studios was already planning a break between the Infinity Saga and Phase 4, but the hiatus was unexpectedly extended due to the coronavirus pandemic. Considering that WandaVision wasn't supposed to kick off this new chapter in MCU storytelling, it's curious why they even wanted an Avengers: Endgame stinger teasing it. If anything, they could've hinted at Black Widow or The Falcon and the Winter Soldier instead.

Yeah it wouldn't have made sense to tease a show that, at the time, was scheduled to come out 2 years later
