CH13 is basically debt consolidation. Certain debts get dismissed, the rest get reduced, then rolled into a single payment to the bankruptcy court and they distribute it to the creditors. You can't do shit while in CH13. You wanna take a vacation? Gotta ask the court. Wanna buy a car? gotta ask the court. Any extra money you make has to go to the court. Hit the lotto? it's gotta go to the court to pay off your debts before a dime goes into your pocket. Hit it big on the slots? Same thing, it has to go to the court.
