Because that was a Moist paragraph, Melo is a peak value man who makes over six figures easy, Lala is a soon to be single mother, now we all know plenty of single mothers that look good for their age and they're getting smashed but they're not married or they haven't married better than what they divorced. If lala was smart she'd play her position as wife to a basketball star but she thinks at her age she can get better and that's not logical.

Your definition of "peak" is not universal. There are famous women that have unheard of husbands. People get married in there 60's. There is not cut off for marriage and who is to say she wants to get marries again? Loretta Devine got married to her current husband in 2001. She was around 52yrs old. She is now 71. Great actress. We dont even know who the husband is.

La La is in the entertainment world with many many connections so im guessing she is good financially. For all we know, she might want someone who is not famous and more stable. That can be her meaning of a "valued man". She lives a different life then us in assume.

Man you sound like a chick, stop it. If Lala wants to divorce Melo, ok, but she certainly isn't marrying better at 41 with a kid, she's gonna get passed around but that's nothing new for her. Her being the wife of Melo was a honor for her a status symbol, now shes just the ex wife of a successful basketball player. While Melo can get a younger more coachable Lala that isn't a disciplinary problem.
