You can pump as long as you want if you eating good and lactating well..

But they need to be off the titty before age 2 at the latest.

I got both the kids off the titty before 1. But she stayed pumping till like 18 months

For me weaning should be done by the time the child is 1 yr old, but it really depends on the mother.
