Kwame coming home? Trump 'receptive' to a request to free Kilpatrick

I listen to 97.1 the ticket, and they talk about The D Las Vegas casino. It’s supposedly owned by a car from Michigan, they have Coney Island, Andiamos and other Detroit shit out there.

Yeah, the coney spot is American, owned by the same family that owns the one on Michigan and Lafayette downtown Detroit. I didn't know Andiamo's is there though. That was a nice ass spot plus one of my old bosses used to perform there as the lounge act.

True, but while I was still living out there, I remember hearing on the radio that Kwame re-negotiated all of the deals with the casinos because the deal that Dennis Archer put in place was supposedly shitty as hell. After Kwame's deal it was supposed to have brought tax revenue from the casinos up. This would have been somewhere around 2002-ish.

After that I figured dude had the city's best interest at heart.

I'm moving back sometime this month or early in April. It's gonna be interesting to see how much has really changed in the 17 years I've been gone.

I'm curious about what made you want to move out of Vegas and come back to Michigan.

There's a coney spot in Atlanta called taste of Detroit.

Got coneys, chilli cheese fries, gyros, corned beef sandwich.

Vernors and Faygo pop. Better made chips and clearfuit.

Place is legit and right across from Georgia State University

Vegas has been just one problem after another. Seriously, I haven't had it this bad in life since moving out here. Everything fucked up that could possibly happen, has happened and then some. Stuck it out for 10 years, time to leave this bitch and get back to a place I'm comfortable with.

Shit is covert racism at it's worst out here. There's a ceiling on how high you can go as a Black man out here. Didn't have that back in Phoenix, sky was the limit out there. Here though? I've been literally the only worthy candidate for jobs paying north of $60/hr and once I showed up for the face-to-face interview suddenly it's "We want to look at other resumes... from out of state... you know, make sure we're not overlooking anyone". Shit happened so much I wasn't even surprised anymore. Had one job I interviewed all the way up the ladded to the CEO and killed it each time; STILL didn't get the job. That's why I work for myself now and of all of my clients only two have been local 'cause locals are on that bullshit!
