I forgot HBO does the one episode a week shit. SMH.
Recognized a lot of the references to Lovecraft and other books, my inner nerd was proud.
The racism is on point for that time, I'm glad they're not skimming over how it was back then.
They got supernatural faster than I expected.
I prefer that stuff as the climax in Lovecraft horror, but it is what it is.

That random rap music was completely out of place, hope that doesn't happen again.
First episode was cool, I'll keep the subscription for the next one.

Well ummm...damn. Given HBO's history wit their original series...i was expecting a slow burn. Like shyt don't pick up til like the 5th episode. Wit the creatures not being shown until towards the end of the season.
