Trump wants power. The U.S. President is the most powerful position (at least perceived anyway) in the world. The silent majority WILL come out and vote him in again. He has an even larger fan base right now than his first run. And as someone said, the incumbent is extremely difficult to supplant.

And please don't think I am a fan of Trump. I like that he has shaken some things up politically, but I do not agree with a lot of his stances and actions. Joe Biden doesn't even have a platform he is running on right now. The MAGA knuckleheads got a 100-yard head start that can't be overcome.
