Felicity Huffman is out of prison -- EARLY, because she only served 11 days of her 14-day sentence.

She was released from the federal facility in Northern Cal early Friday morning. The scheduled release date was Sunday, but apparently there's a policy that inmates whose release date falls on a weekend get sprung the Friday before.

Felicity's still not finished with her sentence. She still has to perform 250 hours of community service. She's already paid the $30,000 fine in connection with her guilty plea in the college admissions scandal.

Mind you ... prosecutors initially were gunning for a year in prison for Felicity, which they scaled back to 4 months, and then one month. The Probation Dept. rebuffed prosecutors and said they'd be satisfied if she served no jail time.

Timing is everything.

connections are vastly different than paying more than the in state tuition for your child to attend the state school

Did y'all stop talking about USC at some point? Because SC isn't a state school.

BOSTON – Actress Lori Loughlin and her fashion designer husband, Mossimo Giannulli, have agreed to plead guilty to charges in the college admissions bribery case and serve two months in prison, according to court papers filed Thursday.

The couple agreed to plead guilty to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud in a plea agreement filed in Boston’s federal court. The charge carries up to 20 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.

Prosecutors have agreed to dismiss charges of money laundering and federal programs bribery that were added after the case was filed.

“Under the plea agreements filed today, these defendants will serve prison terms reflecting their respective roles in a conspiracy to corrupt the college admissions process and which are consistent with prior sentences in this case," said United States Attorney Andrew Lelling. "We will continue to pursue accountability for undermining the integrity of college admissions.”

An attorney for the couple declined to comment.

Loughlin and Giannulli previously pleaded not guilty and firmly insisted on their innocence even as other parents reached deals with prosecutors. The couple are the 23rd and 24th parents to plead guilty in the case.

Loughlin and Giannulli are accused of paying $500,000 in bribes to get their daughters into the University of Southern California as crew team recruits, even though neither of them played the sport.

They aren't about to put them in a jail for 2 months during this pandemic. I'm sure they each had to pay that $250K though. The government always wants their bread.

this is corny....she was all about not guilty and now she cool with two months?

what ever happened to the black mother who did this for middle or high school

The craziest thing about this is that even if or after their kid graduated from a fraudulent college career. They would still end up using their connections to get their kid a job. So this step in that process wasn't even necessary, it was purely for their own vanity in saying where their child got accepted at school. Added to that, the people in their hemisphere already know its bullshit, so its vanity targeted at people outside of their tax bracket.

Imagine going to prison for trying to stunt on people more disadvantaged than you.

The positions you speak of will be those that require a degree. That's the whole point.
