When I was a little kid one of the first slang terms I learned was "bad" meaning good. Like, "that girl looks bad" meaning she's pretty.

I kinda grew up with Hip Hop. Rappers Delight came out when I was 6 and everybody got their slang from whatever the new rap song was.
