This is my 5th time in Africa
Been to:
Seychelles
South Africa
Kenya
Egypt
and now Ghana
All my experiences have been great in Africa. And my trip thus far in Accra has been wonderful. I'll be here for 5 more days.
My travels are always missionary based, meaning spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. So all my interactions with the folks have been pleasant. I went to Makola Market, the central outdoor market in Accra, and preached for hours yesterday without a hiccup. Praise the LORD.
You feel at ease in Africa....The competition that exemplifies "western culture" aka Babylon the Great isn't as pronounced as it is in America.

dodgy looks
mad dog stare downs
lofty eyes
machismo
proud walk
big chest syndrome
crabs in a bucket
goofball mentality that you have to deal with in America on a DAILY basis isn't something that you have to contend with here in Africa
(at least from a tourists POV)
I will say I've seen lots of Chinese here as a side note. First noticed on the plane coming from Brussels to Accra. And then out and about I've seen more than a handful.
