This whole "Last of Us Part 1 Remake" shit has me thinking there really needs to be a minimum amount of time and a significant jump in technology before a studio can do a remake or remaster of a game. Shit is starting to seem like lazy recycling due to an industry that has become too expensive to maintain.
Instead of remaking a massively popular game that you already remastered in the past few years maybe get some IP for a forgotten or sleeper hit and reimagine that.
