What if one day they just decide to add a new book to the Bible, like “The Second New Testament” or some shit. Would people be as gullible as before, and instantly accept it as “the word of God?”

They haven’t tried to add new books necessarily but they’ve said they discovered new books and they aren’t accepted due to those books not matching up to the Bible today, or the time era is way off. They don’t just add books ‘willy-nilly’. There’s a process it has to go through in order for it to pass to be considered a true book that goes along w the Bible. So, no, there won’t be a second NT, especially considering that the current NT has completed the Bible. There’s nothing more that needs to be said or “added”.

You would be better off stating that a new religion can begin off of a “2nd NT”, but not added to the current Bible. The current religion of Christianity is too big to just now randomly add a whole new series of books. The Bible is complete. The story is complete. It was all about Jesus from beginning to end. There is nothing left to fulfill. So wld ppl be stupid enough to believe a new religion? Yes. Wld ppl be stupid to believe a whole new added series of books to the current Christian Bible? No.

Faith is in Christ, not just simply faith. Faith is the assurance of the heart in the adequacy of evidence.
