I don't have a problem with this type of shit. If she wants to keep her show off Netflix based on her thoughts about Netflix working with Dave, that's her right. She isn't forcing her views on anyone else. She isn't asking anybody else to alter their behavior. She has a problem and she is taking actions that are her right to take to deal with it.
The story Dave told about Daphne was actually good and you can tell he cared about her as a person. That said, finding 1 person in a group of people that agrees with you and expecting that to be the point where others in that same group all of a sudden say "well he must not have an issue with that entire group because he has 1 friend" is basically the shit white people do when they say "well I have a Black friend." The shit will never come off the way the person saying that intends for it to. Also it wasn't about people wanting Dave to hire or work with with trans person. You conflated the statement of the Dear White People show runner with the story Dave told.
