People lie to themselves about love is.
You can't be dishonest and still be in love, because subconsciously you always know that they don't truly love you for who you are, they love you for what you present to them.
And unless there are fully aware that you are also in love with another person, the really don't love you for the person you truly are. They are in love with the person you lie to be. And that's not real love.
But people rarely tend to accept the truth about themselves when it doesn't make them feel good about who they are.
