I remember when Rappers Delight came out. I was six years old and it was the most amazing thing I'd ever heard. We got the 12" and I memorized all the words.

I don't remember the other three records, however, now that I'm in my 40s I'm inclined to say that the Funky 4+1 record has better rapping, but the song is too damn long. Even the short version is six minutes . Rapping and Rocking The House could have done some damage if they made a three minute version to give to radio stations.

I'm leaning towards Rapping And Rocking The House

It doesn't make sense to have a best song tournament from every year from 1988-2019. We have to do every year.
