Ignorance can be remedied. Stupidity is incurable.
You have to know your kids and go from there. I didn't do a whole lot of censoring with my kids. They played pretty much whatever they wanted and watched pretty much everything.
They've turned out pretty good if you ask me. 3 college students and a high school junior. None are violent and all will avoid fighting as their first option.
