It's a shonen like Naruto so kinda light hearted with a lot of action. Imo it's one of the best I've seen, story line isn't as predictable as others.

I'd also add My Highschool Academia, Soul Eater, and Fairy Tail. They are like Naruto, but aren't really bogged down by filler and don't stray as much from their foundation as the series continues.
