The issue with covid was just the lockdowns. As cases drop and places slowly open and more people get vaccinated, stock prices are gonna also rise.Idk man I figure the long term effects of Covid shut downs, printing new money w stimulus checks, ppl racking up debt tryna keep up, it's gotta knock down our economy sooner or later I don't see wallstreetbets even being thought of when that happens.
With the amount of money that was printed, and historically low rates, it's going to shoot prices up more as businesses recover and unemployment takes a nosedive as companies aggressively hire to fill the void. If you think the price of real estate and stocks are "expensive" wait till you see the next 5 years lmaoooo, real estate will become a good place to be in. If the rich get richer is true, so will equities.
Debt levels have risen over time along with incomes/salaries. Theoretically a debt crash should have occurred in 2009 or 2010 but it didn't happen. Instead markets rallied.
