How many times have you as the poster, wanted to share just a 5 sec clip of a 5 min video for you fellow community members, but you tell them "its at the 4:05 mark"
And how many times have you as the reader of the post, pressed play, and that bitch started from 0:00 and you have to jump to the 4:05 mark? Or god forbid, the poster didnt even put a timestamp, just referenced a clip, and they expect you to just sit there and find it on ya own like a scavenger hunt?
Well, back in the old days of youtube, you had to tell people "jump to the such and such mark", but a few years ago, not exactly sure when, they enabled the ability for you to copy the time stamp so all someone has to do is press play, and the clip begins right where you want them to, or at least a sec or so outside of it so you can have some context. It's real easy to do.
Go to youtube like normal, and find a clip. I've been getting into battle rap lately (i highly recommend you check it out as well), but lets say there is a certain scheme I want someone to check out.
Right click on the video at the timestamp, click on "copy video URL at current time"
and paste....should be like the video below if you did it right
