CP3 is old. They need a PG of the future and the offense is too reliant on him setting everyone up.
The Bridges extension is kicking in but he's overpaid.
Booker to me is just a scorer and doesn't impact defense playmaking etc.

Dude is 23 and while he has shortcomings (who doesn’t?) you don’t punt on a guy like that when he’s your best big since Amare
You can’t not pay him for this postseason because it’s a blip in the grand scheme
Maybe if it was Ayton’s contract at age 27 or 28 then fine because you actually gave it a chance and it’s not working out
Not when he’s still growing as a player and you can still rely on some potential
Especially when you see the maxes going to other players
Ayton is just as much deserving as the number of guys that have gotten it the past couple of years
