1976 ABA Finals Game 6 Denver Nuggets vs New York Nets (David Thompson & Dan Issel vs Dr J)

I'm just halfway through the first quarter, but I've noticed that they don't take very many 3 point shots.

That was a big thing at the time because the NBA didn't have a 3 point shot until the merger.

I just finished watching the whole game.

Here's the Cliff Notes:

Dr J (New York) - 31 points, 19 rebounds, five assists, five steals, four blocked shots
Brian Taylor (New York) - 24 points
John Williamson (New York) - 28 points

David Thompson (Denver) - 42 points, seven rebounds, zero assists, zero steals
Dan Issel (Denver) - 30 points, 20 rebounds, 3 assists, zero steals

It's interesting to note that there weren't many dunks and I didn't notice any crossovers. Also, they had a three point line but I only counted one or two three point attempts.

It's interesting to see how the game changed.
