I've always said, the best version of Lux has a perfect mix of those layered lines but also weaving in slick talk / witty one liners. His first round showed parts of that. I think it gets to a point you get so skilled you have to remaster the art of simplicity.

idk man i had Lux winning both those battles on first watch, i promise u this battle don't age like wine outside of that first.

Im not saying he gotta do a 30 days prep but battle twice a year. Third if your 2 battles were great. His pacing in the first round was perfect, but then he lost a step the 2nd round and literally lost his track of mind in the 3rd. I think back to when he choked during the 2 on 2... his 3rd...

Or.. or... hear me out. Because we haven't seen three great rounds from Lux since Hollow. Hollow been ass Mook been ass everybody that do this once every year and a half shit been inconsistent...... sometimes i be expecting you to understand 1 + 1 = 2

They gotta get control of these start times though, aint no reason the event should be ending 7 & a half hours later.. everybody get fatigued including the fans

Lux's lack of battle rap conditioning shows. If he really gonna be outside, he gotta be frequent with it. You see Surf challenged himself with back to back events 30 days prep. All them battle rappers that battle once in a blue moon all showing the same inconsistencies...
