In before Shady team and her bullshit about no heart felt hooks lol shit is nice Premo is experimenting can't wait for the album.
Forget about him not being able to do hooks, sing, make hits and have chart success, make at least 1 song that the ladies rock with, sell records
Let's put him not being able to do all that (Artistry and Song Writing) to the side
Why can't he do what Nipsey Hussle does? Nipsey just Raps and makes street rap but tones down on technical lyricism just a simple straight to the point lyrics. Why can't Royce do the same? as well as like Nipsey use banger type production that slaps instead of the minimalist simple beats. Young Jeezy is another example he doesn't sing or do heart felt hooks either he just raps but tones down the lyricism like Nipsey
So what reason is their for Royce not to? or u feel he isn't capable of toning it down?

My wife is a big fan of Kendrick, Krit and Lupe. As a matter of fact, she bought us tickets to the Krit show when he comes to Cleveland.
She makes the same screw face I do when she hears a ridiculous flow or crazy wordplay.
So yeah, there are women that appreciate lyricism. I'm talkin about black women though. Idk, or care, about soulless edomites and camel jockey bitches. Their opinions don't matter to anyone when it comes to rap.
And @Race Jones has an affinity for lyricism, as evidenced by the thread SHE started about underground rap.

Men in general are rap artists' most passionate fans. Sure, you have your Drakes and J. Coles, who have a pretty big female fan base, but, for the most part, men are the consumers of rap music. The sub-genre of conscious rap is just a microcosm of the genre as a whole.
