I find it dope how Draymond said last year that he wanted the max and everyone including sources within the warriors said that wouldnt happen.

So then he comes into the season out of shape and overweight. Everyone is like wtf is up with draymond and the teams defense ends up being the worst its been through their run.

After the allstar game, Draymond starts getting in shape and his play gets better and better. By the time the playoffs begin, Dray loses all the extra weight, by now hes playing like old draymond and the teams defensive efficiency goes up big time.

And then KD gets injured and even though Curry gets all the props, Draymonds game also goes up a few levels and Dray starts running the fast break better than almost anyone again.

And then he also starts talking about personal growth and how he is done with complaining and flopping.

Basically he forced the warriors to max him out cause he showed them the difference in the team with bad draymond vs good draymond and dared them to imagine how it would look with no draymond.

Not saying it was all done on purpose but ima just say it was done on purpose and give him his props.

And with that being said I still wouldn't max out Draymond

Idk man. Playoff Draymond is a max player imo.

It's debateable if Draymond would as effective in a different system and on a team without great shooters.

But on this warriors team its hard to make a case against him being a max player the way hes played in this playoffs.
 
Shoutout PG13. He definetly deserves it. I thought he wouldnt have been on the 1st team cause people might have been sleeping on him since hes in OKC.

Also glad KD aint on the list. You wanna make first team KD? Come to NY.

Trust me bro I get it, its hard to deny the impact and the results......but dude will be 30 next year, prime Draymond could defend 3-5...now he's most effective on just 4's even with the weight loss

Its a really hard decision either way....I just dont see him aging well at all

Its a regular season award fam.

Best player in the world includes playoffs.

If you include playoffs, would you realistically put PG13 in that list over KD?

It'd be KD and Kawhi on that list replacing Harden and PG.

So yea, KD and Kawhi are still 1 and 2 in no order all things considered.

Sadly your mans Giannis would be replaced too. Its be KD and Kawhi on that list replacing Harden and PG.

If he was the best on the planet he would be 1st team regular season, post season, pre season, winter season, all seasons.

If Harden wins MVP hes the best player in the world to you? Better than KD, Kawhi, Curry, and Giannis cause he won MVP?

Cause if them players were better than Harden theyd be better in regular season, post season, pre season, winter season, all seasons.

Answer them two questions.

Did PG ball better than KD this year? Yea


There's too many different definitions of "MVP" to answer that. They give it to who's most "valuable' to the team, which is bullshit imo. But that's another discussion.
