CyHi The Prynce has waited a long time to release his debut album. Like many lyricists, the Atlanta, Georgia native’s mixtape catalog is as strong as many of his peers’ for-sale works. After releasing the first single “Legend” earlier this month, the G.O.O.D. Music MC follows with “Nu Africa.” This track is said to be another inclusion from the upcoming No Dope On Sunday album.

The record argues, “Since America can’t stand to see us / Let’s show ’em how you never bite the hand that feed ya’.” In the verses, CyHi imagines a continental Africa where today’s Black leaders set up show, for a colorful culture where living well is all that matters. The beat weaves in and out of some pumping percussion, with a vocal underneath.

Glad homie is finally releasing an album, his last mixtape was one of the best projects of the year.
