Mom turns her kids over to CPS because she's overwhelmed

I'm going to pray for the kids. I've never felt like putting kids in the system could ever be good for them but the way she is talking, I'm genuinely concerned for their well-being.

Oh she go to Fullsail??

No wonder she ain't got no money

This is why I truly believe we should require a license to birth/parent. Too many people don't take parenting seriously enough or are misguided in their reasoning for having children.

None of us can prove we asked to be born; if people are going to create life, you must, at the very least, be ready to love unconditionally and be aware enough to have some clue as to what it will cost you to support another human being financially and emotionally.

I know, somehow it sounds like I'm asking a lot...

It's better than the alternative act that women do when they are overwhelmed.

I don't have a problem with it.

It's hard out here. If you ain't making six figures with multiple kids, yo check is light, you about to fight when you see the check engine light.

Agreed. That’s on her, though.

Those men are required to pay child support.

Why ain’t they?
Well you have to go to court for that

One of the dad's is dead so..

The other probably doesn't have a legit job that takes out taxes so they can't garnish his wages

There is nothing like being broke and noticing your check engine light come on lol

Well this was the responsible thing to do

Shoutout to her
This. If we have a mechanism in place to take on children whose parents either don’t want to care for them any longer or are unable to…and she either doesn’t want to take care of her kids or is unable to…then she should take advantage of the services that are offered.

It is what it is.

Her posting it on social media may lead to this becoming a trend.

you see stories on the news everyday of overwhemed mothers who in a instant commit horrible crimes against a child/children... at least she admitted her struggles.

I didn't know for sure if the kids were away from her or not, that is good to hear that they are. I do hope this is a clean separation.

I do have some opinions of the young lady but I'll keep those to myself.

Good. Again…if a parent is unwilling or unable to take care of their children, then they should be with someone else.
The anthropologist in me is interested in how such a trend would effect society. Foster care has always been a business, but it has not gone commercial yet.
