Zion hurt, BI probably rehabbing on the court, CJ continuing to demonstrate that lack of court vision, poor transition offense, and the OKC are pretty legit

You was mad quiet when he wasn't struggling though. 🤔

But this why I never get into who gets paid what. The only time people seem to be on the same page about what someone is paid is when a rookie ends up out playing his draft slot then it's "the team is getting a steal".

I'm not going to discuss what CJ should or shouldn't be paid cause you go with the information you have at the time and hope for the best.

His value goes beyond the court imo but at the same time there are other roster issues I think are more concerning

And the point was always more about yall didn't have to extend him when yall did, could've waited and still paid him if that's what you really wanted to

I guarantee you if you ask the Pelicans front office right now if they would want to give McCollum a 2 year 64 million dollar deal right now they would say hell no
 
I still like CJ, his shot creation is still rather elite and dude gets to the rim
If he took around 3 less shots a game to make the extra pass after dribbling he'd be scary
I'd rather see a roster without BI next year than anything in a bubble

The Pelicans gotta come out shooting well no matter the shots tonight or its over
